Cleanliness Message on Milad 1438

This year on 6 March 2017, Monday, BFI organized a Wall Painting program at Maharshi Karve Road, Thakurdwar Mumbai, under the guidance of Taikhoom Bhaisahebbin Shahzada Huzaifa Bhaisaheb Mohiyuddin Saheb, a Trustee of BFI. A footpath wall of a cemetery was painted with environmental and social messages by 120 Students from 4 different schools of Mumbai, viz. Raudat al Quran al Kareem, Al Madrasa tus Saifiya tul Burhaniyah, Saifee Boys High School and Taiyebiyah Girls High School, along with a group of 5 professional painters.

The messages included 'Save our Planet', 'I Love Nature', ' Patriotism', 'Do Not Spit', 'Keep Clean and Use Dustbin', etc. This activity was carried out between 10AM to 2PM and was covered by various media houses. We also received great co – operation and assistance from Mr. Mudhe (Assistant Engineer SWM, C Ward) and Mr Singh.

Also present at this occasion were BFI Trustee Taikhoom Bhaisaheb bin Shahzada Huzaifa Bhaisaheb Mohiyuddin Saheb, Mehlam Bhaisaheb Zainuddin Saheb and also Secretary of BFI Moiz bhai Tambawala. Mr. Deepak Kazve, Officer from Traffic Police Control Room, Kalbadevi also paid visit during this program and expressed happiness to see such a noble initiative near the Kalbadevi Traffic Police Office. The officer with his team also assured their contribution in maintaining these paintings. They praised this event and BFI for undertaking various environmental activities at different places and desired to see more environmental campaigns in the city to achieve our goal of Clean and Green Mumbai and ultimately a ‘Swachh Bharat’.

Students and all other participants were also provided with refreshments and their work was appreciated by the onlookers and people passing through, who were happy to see this beautification initiative.
